Ingun Schneider

Ingun Schneider is the Director of the Remedial Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College & works as an educational support teacher in San Francisco. The focus of her work is the Waldorf-based Extra Lesson approach to learning difficulties. She is a graduate of the Spacial Dynamics® Training and has worked as a Waldorf class teacher, Lamaze™ childbirth educator, and physical therapist. Her teaching, mentoring, and assessment work has brought her to Waldorf communities in many countries. Ingun has written articles about movement development and has edited several books including: The Extra Lesson, Teaching Children Handwriting, Sleep: An Unobserved Element in Education, and most recently, Reading Children’s Drawings—The Person, House, and Tree Motifs.
